AITKIN-A 77-year-old man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at 5:38 a.m. Wednesday on Highway 169 in Waukenabo Township in Aitkin County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Darrel L. Johnson of Tamarack was driving a Jeep Liberty north on Highway 169, when he had a medical issue and crossed over the centerline and struck a semitrailer traveling south on the highway. The Jeep ran off the road and rolled, landing on its roof. Johnson was transported to Riverwood Healthcare Center Hospital in Aitkin with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver of the semi, Scott M. Beach, 47, Zim, was not injured.
