Meteorologist Paul Douglas has been bringing weather reports to the area for 35 years on radio and television.
He will present on climate change in northern Minnesota 1:30-2:30 p.m. June 23, for Lakes Area Unlimited Learning. The event is $5 for non-members and will be at Salem Lutheran Church, 21276 Archibald Road, Deerwood.
An inventor and serial entrepreneur, Douglas has founded several companies developing weather apps, patents and weather visualizations for films such as Jurassic Park and Twister.
He has appeared monthly on TPT Almanac, written for the Star Tribune and published two books-"Prairie Skies" and "Restless Skies."
