Mille Lacs County rollover injures Rush City man

Michael Allen Skalsky, 27, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Regions Hospital in St. Paul.


A Rush City man suffered non-life-threatening injuries during a rollover crash Sunday, June 6, in Isle Harbor Township, Mille Lacs County.

According to Minnesota State Patrol reports, at 5:53 p.m., Sunday, Michael Allen Skalsky, 27, of Rush City, was operating a 1996 Dodge Ram that was traveling south on Highway 47, just south of Highway 27, when the Ram veered off the highway and into a ditch. The Ram struck a driveway approach, reentered the roadway and rolled over. Skalsky was transported from the scene to Regions Hospital in St. Paul for non-life-threatening injuries. Skalsky was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the incident and conditions are described as dry.

Agencies assisting at the scene include the Isle Police Department, the Isle Fire Department, Mille Lacs Health Ambulance and the Mille Lacs County Sheriff's Office.
