BISMARCK - A Minnesota man who fled North Dakota before his sentencing for luring a minor by computer was found in Florida and now sits in jail while he awaits a new sentencing date.
Jeffrey Dean Alley of Princeton, Minn., previously pleaded guilty in South Central District Court in Burleigh County to the felony offense and was scheduled to be sentenced July 14.
Alley missed that hearing, and Haskell issued a no-bond warrant for his arrest.
Deputies from the Lee County (Fla.) Sheriff's Department arrested Alley on July 22 and transported him to Bismarck on Aug. 4, after he waived his right to resist extradition.
On Monday, Alley appeared before Judge Sonna Anderson, who ordered Alley held without bond at Burleigh County Detention Center until he could be sentenced.

Alley was arrested and charged in August 2014 and pleaded guilty to soliciting sex from what he believed was an underage girl, actually an undercover Bismarck police officer.
