Minnesota Teen Challenge received matching donations of $925 each from the University of Minnesota Extension Crow Wing County Master Gardeners and from brothers Daniel and Ken Lueken from Baxter for the establishment of a new community garden.
Crow Wing County Master Gardeners will mentor Teen Challenge clients and staff from start to finish with the educational garden program.
A grant from Crow Wing Power provided the initial starting funds for the sustainable gardening project.
