KADOKA, S.D. – Brittnie Montague, 26, of St. Francis, Minn., has been identified as the person killed in a one-vehicle crash that occurred early Sunday morning west of Kadoka, S.D.
Montague was driving a 1972 Chevy C10 pickup eastbound on Interstate 90 when she lost control. The vehicle entered the median and rolled several times.
The driver was partially ejected and was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger, Dawn Vanwagner, 38, also of St. Francis, suffered serious non-life threatening injuries and was transported to a Rapid City hospital. Both women were wearing seatbelts.
South Dakota’s Highway Patrol is investigating the crash.
