Miss Brainerd and Baxter United States Pageant set Saturday

The 2017 Miss Brainerd and Baxter United States Pageant will be at 7 p.m. Saturday at Tornstrom Auditorium in Brainerd.

There will be 23 contestants competing to win nine titles in the Jr Teen, Teen, Miss, Ms Woman and Mrs Divisions.

Competing in the Junior Teen Division:

• Ava Aanes, the 13-year-old daughter of Heather Aanes and Ryan Aanes, is sponsored by Patricia A. Aanes, attorney at law.

• Kelli Allison, the 14-year-old daughter of Crisi Esser and Jazlyn Pare-Allison, is sponsored by her parents.

• Isabel Bundy, the 14-year-old daughter of Holly Ulm, is sponsored by Discovery Horse, LLC.

• Kylie Christenson, the 14-year-old daughter of Bethany and Trent Christenson, is sponsored by Pearl Vision and Hilltop Camper and RV.

• Jenna Hanson, the 14-year-old daughter of Bill and Tanya Hanson, is sponsored by Nisswa Smiles.

• Karlie Ray, the 15-year-old daughter of Michelle Ray, is sponsored by Rice Lake Construction and James Klink Construction.

• Emily Rhoda, the 14-year-old daughter of Paul and Sarah Rhoda, is sponsored by Engum's Academy.

• Jasmine Townsend, the 15-year-old daughter of Kerry Townsend and Heidi Balvik- Townsend, is sponsored by Hair Force One.

• Stephanie Whiting, the 14-year-old daughter of Michelle Whiting and Greg Whiting, is sponsored by Kathleen Lordbock, broker, Keller Williams.

Competing in the Teen Division:

• Lora Davis, 16-year-old daughter of Gae and Dave Davis, is sponsored by Verizon.

• Claire Ehman, the 16-year-old daughter of Daniel Ehman and Suzanne Elfstrand, is sponsored by Dan Ehman Landscaping.

• Mariah Fitch, the 18-year-old daughter of Michael Fitch and Tina Brainard, is sponsored by A-Affordable Bail Bonds and Stash Otto.

• Kaytlin Hart, the 18-year-old daughter of Angela and Ryan Hart, is sponsored by Lake Country Dental, John Franzen Stucco and American Door Works.

• Haley Helmin, the 16-year-old daughter of Amanda and Kyle Helmin, is sponsored by Vercon, Inc.

• Mariah Hummer, the 16-year-old daughter of Robyn Hummer and Donald Hummer, is sponsored by Don Hummer Construction.

Competing in the Miss Division:

The Miss Brainerd/Baxter United States Pageant is a preliminary competition to the Miss Minnesota and Miss United States Pageants. Tickets to the pageant are all general seating for $15, with children 5 and under, free. Doors to the theater will open at 6 p.m. with a silent auction set up in the theater.
