Missing children nonprofit seeks public help in locating teen

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children believes the teen may be in the Onamia area.

The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children is asking for the public’s help in finding 16-year-old Rubyn Benjamin.

Benjamin has been missing since Nov. 9, 2020, from Brainerd. He has brown hair and eyes and is an American Indian. He is 5-foot-6 and weighs 150 pounds.

He may be in the Onamia area, according to a news release from the center.


If anyone has any information, they are encouraged to call the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children at 800-843-5678 (THE-LOST) or the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office at 320-251-4240.
