EAST GULL LAKE — The Cass County Sheriff’s Office responded Sunday, Aug. 9, to a report of a missing swimmer in the area of Pike Bay Road in East Gull Lake.
The sheriff’s office responded at 8:52 p.m. and learned a 36-year-old Minneapolis man was last seen swimming in Gull Lake. Emergency responders searched the Gull Lake area and the man was located at 11:16 p.m., when he returned to shore.
Cass County Sheriff Tom Burch said the man was OK and refused medical treatment.
The Minnesota State Patrol, Crow Wing County Sheriff’s Office, Lake Shore Police Department and Pillager Fire and Rescue.
