Area residents, business owners and motorists are invited to attend an open house to learn about, and provide input on, the Highway 371 Nisswa to Jenkins four-lane expansion project.
The open house will be held Dec. 15, from 4-6 p.m. at Pequot Lakes City Hall, 4638 County Road 11.
Final design of the project is underway, construction will begin soon and all lanes of the new segment of Highway 371 are scheduled to open in fall 2017.
Open house attendees will be able to learn more details and view preliminary layouts of the project, learn about construction plans and how the project will affect traffic, and have questions answered directly from the leaders of the design-build team.
