A short segment of Derksen Road at Highway 371 in Pequot Lakes will close for about three weeks beginning Monday, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said. The detour will route motorists to Morehouse Drive, about half a mile north of Derksen Road.
Crews are preparing Derksen to become the future Crow Wing County Road 11 detour, which is expected to begin the week of May 16, after the 2016 Minnesota Fishing Opener.
