The following are those whose names were added to the list of those running for local city, township, school board and hospital board offices.
In Deerwood, Josiah Granholm filed to run against incumbent Mayor Michael Aulie. Incumbent Debby Leonard filed for city council along with John V. Taylor.
Don Jacobson filed to run for mayor of Nisswa, and Gregg Sellner submitted his name for Nisswa City Council.
In Breezy Point, Gene Dehler filed to run for city council.
In Backus, three incumbents are seeking re-election. Mayor Kurt Sawyer and council members Steven Braker and Karl Flier filed for office.
In Cuyuna, incumbent mayor Lloyd Brix and city council member David Zontelli filed for re-election.
In Garrison, Bruce Pierson filed for re-election as mayor.
In Little Pine Township, David Kauphusman filed for re-election as town supervisor, Seat A, and Audrey Leblanc filed for re-election as town clerk.
In Pelican Township, incumbent Robert Olson filed for town supervisor, Seat A, and Jody Wallin, also an incumbent, filed for town treasurer.
In Perry Lake Township, Todd Wood filed for town supervisor, Seat 2, and Roger Waytashek, an incumbent, filed for town supervisor, Seat 3.
In Timothy Township, Dawn Rubner filed for re-election as town supervisor, Seat A.
In Jenkins Township, Steven-Lindsay Cox filed for town supervisor, seat 3.
In Lake Edward Township, Roger Palmer Sr. filed for town supervisor, Seat A.
Lee-Ann Marchwick filed for city council in Hackensack.
Bret Mattheisen, who currently serves on the city council of Pillager, filed for mayor.
In Motley, four council members filed for office, although two are vying for the mayoral post. Amy Hutchison and Al Yoder both filed to run for mayor. Incumbents Steve Johnson and Pat O'Regan filed to retain their seats on the city council.
In Remer, Kaara Nilsson filed for city council.
Char Moore submitted her name for Walker City Council.
Four incumbents filed in Genola. Mayor Larry Korf filed for re-election; Tim O'Neil and Charles Storkamp filed for city council; and Tammy Giuliani filed for city clerk.
In Little Falls, incumbents in all three wards filed for re-election, along with challengers in Ward 1. Gerald Knafla filed for re-election to ward 2 and Frank Gosiak filed for ward 3. Incumbent Loren Boyum filed for re-election in ward 1, along with Robin Hensel and Raquel Lundberg.
In Pierz, incumbent Mayor Toby Egan filed for re-election. Kyle Bednar and Don Bujalski submitted their names for Pierz City Council and Dave Fischer filed for city clerk.
In Randall, two people filed to run for mayor: Bob Riitters, incumbent, and Danny L. Noss, a current city council member. Four people filed for two city council seats: incumbent Rick Turner, James Chyba, Andrew Haider and Brian Zilka.
In Wadena, incumbent Mayor George Deiss filed for re-election. Jessie Gibbs filed for city council.
In Deerfield Township, incumbent Cleo Bach is seeking re-election to town supervisor seat 1 and incumbent Dennis Kriens filed for town supervisor seat 2. Bonnie Van Buren, town treasurer, filed to retain her seat.
In Hiram Township, incumbent James McGill filed for re-election to town supervisor seat 2.
Incumbent town supervisors in Inguadona Township filed for re-election: Duane Bertsch for seat 1 and Gerald Varner for seat 2.
Two incumbents filed in Leech Lake Township. Dennis A. Dicks filed for town supervisor seat 3 and Kevin P. Krueger filed for town treasurer.
Special elections in Slater Township drew applicants. William "Skip" Rosen and Matt West submitted their names for town supervisor seat 2. Sandra West submitted her name for town treasurer. Sandra West was previously appointed to the post to fill a vacancy.
Nancy Green, an incumbent, filed for Slater Township clerk.
In Sylvan Township, incumbent Greg Booth filed for town supervisor seat 1, and Greg Bennett filed for town supervisor seat 4.
In Trelipe Township, incumbent Theodore Frick filed for town supervisor seat 3.
In Pierz Township, Al Hoheisel and Dean Rocheleau both filed for town supervisor, seat C.
A slate of incumbents filed to fill seats in Walden Township. Joel Erickson filed for town supervisor seat 1; Michael Austad filed for town supervisor seat 3; and Glenna Tappe filed for town treasurer. Chuck Kargel, who was appointed to the town board to fill a vacancy, filed for the special election for town supervisor seat 2.
Incumbent Bob Sandin and Joe Dwyer filed for seats on the Crosby-Ironton School Board.
David Hietala filed for a seat on the Pillager School Board.
Incumbent Jay Spillum filed for a seat on the Little Falls School Board.
Several candidates filed for the Cuyuna Range Hospital District, including Jon Wittnebel for the at large position, and David Kauphusman for the Little Pine Township position. Kauphusman is an incumbent.
