LITTLE FALLS-A person has inherited several boxes of papers, mementos and miscellaneous stuff from a relative, or has a pile of personal effects to sort.
How does a person decide what's important enough to keep? What might be historically significant years down the line? What will a person do with it all if they ever get through it?
Find the answer to these questions at the "Sorting for History" class from 1-4 p.m. March 4 at the Charles A. Weyerhaeuser Memorial Museum in Little Falls. The class will be presented by the Morrison County Historical Society. Museum staff will explain how they sort through large collections and arrange and store items so they can be easily accessed.
Attendees are encouraged to bring one small box of items they would like to sort in order to jump start their spring cleaning process.
The cost of the class is $30 plus tax for the general public, $25 plus tax for members of MCHS. A minimum of five people are needed to be signed up for the class to be held. A maximum of 20 reservations will be taken for the class.
