MOTLEY-A prayer vigil is planned in response to the deadly shooting in Las Vegas.
The Motley Free Methodist Church, 33 Wellwood St., Motley, will host the vigil at noon Wednesday.
Senior Pastor Jim Johnson announced the vigil on the church's Facebook page.
"The tragedy in Las Vegas calls for prayer," Johnson wrote, adding the vigil would be for "the victims, the families, the city officials and America in general."
The vigil is open to anyone wishing to attend.
