VINELAND — Two motorcyclists from Outing suffered injuries Thursday, Oct. 7, when the motorcycles they were operating collided.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported a 2020 Spyder Roadster driven by Paula Marie Malikowski, 69, and a 2006 Harley-Davidson Cruiser driven by Kevin Larry Malikowski, 71, were involved in the crash at 4:36 p.m. The two were traveling northbound on Highway 169 at Ataage Drive, near Grand Casino-Mille Lacs, when the crosswalk sign began to flash. The first motorcycle slowed down, but the second motorcycle was not able to stop in time, hitting the rear of the first, according to the state patrol.
Both drivers were transported to Mille Lacs Health System in Onamia with non-life-threatening injuries. Both wore helmets and road conditions were dry at the time of the crash, the report stated.
