BUCKMAN — A 78-year-old man was injured Monday, July 12, when the motorcycle he was operating crashed 1 mile north of Buckman.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was called at 9:42 a.m. to the motorcycle crash in Pierz Township. Robert Morley of Isanti was traveling north on Highway 25, approaching 270th Avenue. Morley entered the curve and ended up in the ditch and rolled his motorcycle. Morley was transported to CHI St. Gabriel’s Hospital in Little Falls by Mayo Clinic Ambulance with unknown injuries. Morley was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
The sheriff’s office was assisted at the scene by the Pierz police and fire departments, Pierz First Response Team and the Morrill-Lakin-Mount Morris-Buckman First Response Team.
