Motorcycle crash results in injuries

RANDALL--A passenger was transported to a hospital Sunday after the motorcycle she was on went out of control and crashed on 230th Street, four miles west of Randall in Parker Township.

RANDALL-A passenger was transported to a hospital Sunday after the motorcycle she was on went out of control and crashed on 230th Street, four miles west of Randall in Parker Township.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office responded to the crash at 11:46 a.m. The sheriff's office reported Ryan Kellen, 43, Norcross, was operating a motorcycle and traveling west on 230th Street. Kellen drove over a hill and had to apply the brakes to avoid a collision with other motorcycles in his group. Kellen lost control of the motorcycle and suffered minor cuts and bruises, the sheriff's office reported. His passenger, Tanya Kellen, 36, of Norcross, was transported by Life Link III out of Brainerd to the St Cloud Hospital with a possible head injury. Both parties were not wearing a helmet.

The sheriff's office was assisted at the scene by Randall Fire and Rescue and Gold Cross Ambulance.
