BACKUS -- A 49-year-old Pillager woman suffered injury after she was ejected from a motorcycle Thursday, July 4.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Tonja Marie Senn was involved in the crash 3:24 p.m. Thursday on Highway 84 near Ponto Lake Road, east of Backus in Ponto Lake Township.
Senn was operating at 2006 Yamaha motorcycle when it left the road on a curve, struck a culvert and ejected her. Senn was transported to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd for non-life-threatening injuries. According to the state patrol, the road was dry at the time of the crash. Senn was not wearing a helmet.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office and the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources assisted at the scene.
