McGREGOR — A 57-year-old Askov man was injured Saturday, June 13, when the Harley-Davidson motorcycle he was driving crashed east of McGregor in Aitkin County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported the motorcycle, driven by James W. Beckman, was traveling east on Highway 210 behind another vehicle. Beckman lost control of the motorcycle when the vehicle in front of him slowed to turn into a residence east of 328th Avenue, the state patrol reported.
Beckman was transported by North Memorial Health Ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Mary’s Medical Center in Duluth for non-life-threatening injuries. Beckman was not wearing a helmet, the state patrol reported.
The Aitkin County Sheriff's Office assisted the state patrol at the crash, which was reported at 5:51 p.m.
