WALKER-A 58-year-old Minneapolis man suffered non-life threatening injuries when his motorcycle hit a deer in Shingobee Township in Cass County.
The Minnesota State Patrol reported Keith Ted Smith was southbound on Highway 371 near 60th Street Northwest at about 9:30 p.m. Saturday, July 28, on a 1982 Honda motorcycle when he struck a deer.
Smith was not wearing a helmet and was taken to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office assisted at the scene.
