The Brainerd Public Library staff would like to give our sincere thanks to the Friends of the Brainerd Public Library members for their hours of volunteering. They have just completed another record setting Fall Book Sale, raising over $6,000 to help purchase additional library materials, support library programming and much more. These funds enable us to go far

above and beyond what would be possible with our regular budget, to bring great programs to the lakes area. The book sale co-chairs Rita Hamman and Ruth Gogolin have given great dedication to make the book sales so successful for many years. We also could not have made the sale happen without the help of Sentence to Serve and Teen Challenge. The book sales

are more than just an amazing fundraiser for the library; the Friends of the Library are dedicated to getting more books into the homes of all members of our community. They are determined to keep prices low so that you will not hesitate to stock up on books for yourself, your friends and your family. The Friends want everyone to enjoy reading as much as we do and when a

family walks out with five bags of books for $10 they know their work was worth it. Thank you very much all Friends of the Brainerd Public Library for all that you do for the library and our community! Happy reading!
