Many thanks to all who helped make the recent blood drive at Garrison on June 11 a success. We collected 37 units with six doubles.
Many thanks to the cooks for the meal, volunteers from Light of the Cross and VFW members who made the room ready and put it back in place the way they found it, the ladies of the VFW Post No. 1816 for their cookies as well as the greeters and kitchen help and Light of the Cross for allowing us to hold the drive at their facility.
It is through the combined efforts of all the above and donors as well, we say a hearty thanks.
We look forward to seeing many of you at the next blood drive on Nov. 12.
