We thank Sen. Carrie Ruud for taking part in the State Director Leadership Summit, hosted by the National Foundation for Women Legislators.

At the Summit, Sen. Ruud joined a bipartisan group of 31 elected women from throughout the country to participate in workshops to combat polarization and build respect in state legislatures. Our democracy depends on the ability of elected officials to respect one another, disagree without being disagreeable, and work together to address issues facing our country. We hope that Senator Ruud will continue to be an advocate for civility and facilitate more collaboration in Minnesota.
