Landwehr Construction reports it will continue to have multiple work crews on the Cypress Drive project working between Highway 210 and College Road with a break on the project during the heavily traveled Independence Day holiday period.
Planned work activities include miscellaneous topsoil placement, tree planting, turf restoration (seeding and sodding), irrigation system repairs, and miscellaneous punch list items and cleanup.
Industrial Park Road remains open to traffic (with construction work being done under traffic along that corridor), and the College Road/Cypress Drive intersection area will remain closed until the anticipated re-opening the week of July 29. There are posted detours for College Road traffic.
During construction, access to all properties within the construction zone will be maintained.
Driveway work is still ongoing. Property owners directly affected by work at driveways should have been or will be contacted by Short Elliott Hendrickson and or Landwehr Construction representatives regarding temporary access configuration changes or temporary access limitations. If you have any questions please contact one of the SEH or Landwehr representatives listed below.

During the week of July 1, Landwehr Construction Inc. was working on miscellaneous topsoil placement, tree planting, erosion control, turf restoration (seeding), roundabout landscaping, driveway bituminous paving, traffic signal, and street lighting activities.
The BNSF Railway, Minnesota Department of Transportation and SEH and the contractor completed additional testing of the new railroad grade crossing signals and their interaction with the traffic signal at Highway 210/Cypress Drive on July 1. No work was planned on the Fourth of July through Saturday, July 6, in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
Until further notice, the access configurations in the project area are as follows:
properties on Cypress Drive south of College Road will need to access from the south;
properties on Cypress Drive between College Road and Industrial Park Road will need to access from the north;
properties along Basswood Road (cul-de-sac) east of Cypress Drive will need to access from the north;
properties along Greenwood Road (cul-de-sac) west of Cypress Drive should access from the east on Greenwood Road (please drive with caution through the residential neighborhood);
properties along College Road west of Cypress drive should access from the west;
properties along College Road east of Cypress drive should access from the east.
The south leg of the State Highway 210/Cypress Drive intersection will remain closed until the new railroad crossing and road are fully constructed. This also means the westbound State Highway 210 left turn lane at Cypress Drive, the northbound Cypress Drive through lanes south of State Highway 210, and the eastbound State Highway 210 right turn lane at Cypress Drive will all remain closed during this time.
All planned work is weather dependent and subject to change.
