The Cuyuna Lakes Chamber of Commerce announces Music in the Park at 6 p.m. Thursday in Crosby Memorial Park.
The event will feature musicians Jack Pearson and Brendan Flynn.
Since 1979, Pearson has performed full-time for kids and families in the Upper Midwest and around the country. He brings a music/story experience of imagination, spirit, folklore and history on guitar, fiddle, five-string banjo, mandolin, dobro and an assortment of small percussion instruments.
Flynn plays high-energy acoustic folk-Americana music - a mix of original, traditional and re-interpreted popular cover music. He can be seen at many venues around the Brainerd lakes area this summer.
Join It's Up to YOU! team members as they dedicate a Little Free Library in memory of John Pribyl. The Jessie F. Hallett Memorial Library is proud to sponsor this evening of Music in the Park.
The Crosby-Ironton Rangerettes Dance Team will also be selling tacos in a bag along with other treats at this event to help fund their trip to the Outback Bowl.
Booth spaces are still available on "Park Avenue." Set up a booth for only $15 per night to promote a business or sell goods and services. A sponsorship of Music in the Park of at least $100 will include three nights on 'Park Avenue' free.
If interested in sponsoring Music in the Park, contact the chamber.
