The name of the person who was killed in a head-on crash Sunday on Highways 169 and 27 in Mille Lacs County was released Monday.

It was reported a Ford Edge, driven by Patricia A. Stejskal, 48, Cohasset, was traveling northbound on Highway 169 and a Chevrolet Silverado, driven by Peterson, was traveling southbound. The state patrol said the Chevy crossed the centerline and struck the Ford head-on.

Stejskal was seriously injured and taken to St. Mary's hospital in Duluth. Stejskal's son, Zachary E. Stejskal, 15, was a passenger in the Ford and he was taken to the Onamia hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
