Name released from last week's fatality

LONGVILLE - The name of the man who was killed Oct. 21 in a two-vehicle head-on crash in Longville has been released.

The man was identified as Douglas Anwiler, the Cass County Sheriff Office reported.

The sheriff's office received a report at 9:18 p.m. of a two-vehicle crash on Cass County Road 7 in Longville. Anwiler, who was 55, was pronounced dead at the Longville airport.

Assisting at the scene were Longville Fire and First Responders, The Longville Police Department, North Memorial Ambulance and North Memorial Air Care.
