Name released in Monday's fatal rollover accident

The name of the driver who was killed Monday in a rollover on Highway 64, two miles north of Motley, was identified as Terrance T. Peterson, 27, Robbinsdale, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

The name of the driver who was killed Monday in a rollover on Highway 64, two miles north of Motley, was identified as Terrance T. Peterson, 27, Robbinsdale, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.

Peterson was driving a 1999 Mercury Mystique south on Highway 64 at 120th Street Southwest when he lost control and entered the west ditch, the state patrol said. The vehicle rolled multiple times before coming to a rest in the ditch.

Peterson's passenger, Rayvon Whitfield, 23, Robbinsdale, was transported to Lakewood Health System in Staples for non-life-threatening injuries.

The state patrol reported alcohol was detected in the driver's and passenger's systems.

The Morrison County Sheriff's Office and the Cass County Sheriff's Office assisted in the crash reported at 6 p.m.
