St. Francis Catholic School will celebrate National Catholic Schools Week, Jan. 25-31. The theme for the week is "Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service." Students will volunteer for various service projects throughout the week including helping at the Salvation Army Food Shelf, the senior center and additional tasks at the school and church. A school open house is set for 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 27. A school talent show will take place after the open house. All are welcome. Through these events St. Francis School will focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to Catholic churches, to communities and to the nation.
