Motorists who use Crow Wing County Road 107/Wilderness Road to access Cullen Lake and other areas of Pequot Lakes may encounter delays beginning Monday, April 18, when the south junction of County Road 107 at Highway 371 closes.
A signed detour will direct motorists to the north junction of County Road 107/Highway 371, 2 miles north of the County Road 107/Wilderness Road and Highway 371 junction, the Minnesota Department of Transportation said in a release.
The south junction of County Road 107/Wilderness Road at Highway 371 will reopen in September.
Also, Highway 371 at County Road 107/Wilderness Road will be reduced to a single lane with flaggers allowing one-way, alternating traffic through the work zone for several hours on April 18.
The closures are part of the Highway 371 four-lane expansion project in Nisswa, Pequot Lakes and Jenkins. An informational open house is planned for Friday, April 15, from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at the Cole Memorial Building, 4285 Tower Square in Pequot Lakes.
