WADENA-An event originally scheduled for Jan. 31 will now take place Feb. 21, after extreme cold forced its cancellation.
Clean Energy Resource Teams organized a free workshop with the goal of assisting people with finding energy savings at their homes. The Neighborhood Energy Workshop will be 5-7 p.m. Feb. 21 at Wadena-Deer Creek High School.
The event will offer attendees the opportunity to find steps to save energy and money, get help reading utility bills, learn about energy assistance and connect directly with service providers. Also offered will be a free dinner.
To register, people can call Wadena-Deer Creek Community Education at 218-632-2323 or email wdc-community-ed@wdc2155.k12.mn.us . Walk-ins are welcome, too.
The Clean Energy Resource Teams-or CERTs-are a statewide partnership with a shared mission to connect people and their communities to the resources they need to identify and implement community-based clean energy projects.
