Nisswa Elementary School celebrated Joe Haeg Week this week in honor of their former student's trip to Super Bowl LV.
Joe Haeg, a 2011 Brainerd High School graduate who attended Nisswa Elementary during his early education years, is an offensive lineman for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. After playing four years NFL football with the Indianapolis Colts, Haeg signed with the Buccaneers before this season and will battle the Kansas City Chiefs in his first Super Bowl.
Haeg's mom, Janet Haeg, is a media specialist at Nisswa Elementary, where students and staff honored the pro football player all week with special activities.
