A forum on essential air service in Brainerd is one of four stops on a northern Minnesota tour with U.S. Rep Rick Nolan, D-Minn.
Forums are also planned in International Falls, Hibbing and Bemidji. The forums will feature opening remarks by Nolan and testimony from airport and community members on the importance of essential air and commercial air service to their communities. The forum in International Falls will also focus on rail service.
The forum is 1-2 p.m. Wednesday in the Brainerd Lakes Regional Airport conference room, 16384 Airport Road.
