CROSSLAKE - Rep. Rick Nolan, D-Minn., will speak on "House on the Hill: How Congress Works" at this month's Crosslake Chautauqua Program at the Crosslake Community Center.
The session is set for 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
Nolan, who represents Minnesota's 8th Congressional District, will offer a behind the scenes look at how the U.S. House of Representatives functions. He will explain the steps by which an idea is transformed into a law, including the role citizens play in that process. The program is free to the public.
