HASTINGS - A 19-year-old Northfield man will spend a year in jail and another 15 years on probation in connection with two incidents of criminal sexual conduct. One of the incidents involved a 15-year-old Rosemount girl.
Michael Lyle Stuckey Jr. pleaded guilty in Dakota County Court on Monday to two counts of third-degree criminal sexual conduct. Judge Jerome Abrams sentenced him to 361 days in jail and a $50 fine in addition to probation. Stuckey also has to comply with sex offender treatment and register as a predatory offender. If he does not remain law abiding he could serve 48 months in prison.
Rosemount police were alerted to the incident with the Rosemount girl in August 2013. The girl told police she connected with Stuckey on Facebook and he had come to her house. They started kissing, and the girl said she tried to push Stuckey away. She said he became more aggressive then and started taking her clothes off and having sex with her. She said she pushed Stuckey off with her foot and said no multiple times.
The other incident involved a 13-year-old girl.
