The identity of the man found deceased in Little Pine Lake was identified by the Crow Wing County Sheriff's Office Thursday morning.

The victim was identified as Gerald Norbert Becker, 65, Elk River.

The sheriff's office received a call about 5:13 p.m. Wednesday about an unresponsive male found in the water at the end of his dock on Little Pine Lake. A Crosslake Police Officer along with members of the Crosslake Fire Department were able to pull the victim to shore. No life-saving efforts were performed.

Upon examination of the scene, deputies reported observing evidence of fishing equipment on the dock and witnesses reported seeing the victim fishing earlier in the week. The victim was transported to the Ramsey County Coroner's Office for an autopsy.

Assisting the sheriff's office were the Crosslake Police Department, Crosslake Fire Department and North Memorial Ambulance.
