Officials temporarily close Baxter City Hall

BAXTER — Baxter city officials announced late Wednesday, Nov. 11, it is temporarily closing city hall through Nov. 25 due to recent employee exposure to COVID-19.

The city of Baxter is closing city hall as a cautionary measure to protect its employees and the general public.

During this closure, city staff will continue to work in a limited capacity to provide essential city services. Residents are encouraged to connect with city staff by phone or email. For general inquiries call 218-454-5100; for utility billing inquiries call 218-454-5121; or for building inspection services call 218-454-5109. Residents also may check out the city’s website at baxtermn.gov for additional information.
