The Rosenmeier Center for State and Local Government will continue the discussion of oil pipelines in general and the Enbridge Sandpiper pipeline in particular in a forum at 7 p.m. Monday at Central Lakes College's Chalberg Theater.
This forum will include Paul Eberth, project manager of the Sandpiper Project and Paul Stolen, independent environmental analyst. Moderators will be Lakeland Public Television News Director Dennis Weimann and Mike O'Rourke, former associate editor for the Brainerd Dispatch.
"A final decision about this project, Enbridge's Sandpiper Pipeline, is getting closer," Rosenmeier President Eric Klang said in a news release. "Hearings have been held, testimony has been given, but many still have questions. We, as citizens and taxpayers need to get this right. This forum should, hopefully add more light without simply more heat. The consequences are too important."
The forum is free and open to the public. Questions will be taken from the audience.
