MADISON - One person was killed and another injured in a crash early Friday in west-central Minnesota.
According to the Lac qui Parle County Sheriff’s Office, the crash happened shortly before 5 a.m. at County Roads 25 and 2. The sheriff’s office said foggy conditions may have been a factor.
The sheriff’s office said one person was pronounced dead at the scene. Another was taken by ambulance to Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dawson.
Names were being withheld pending the investigation and notification of relatives.
