Local dentists, hygienists, and assistants as well as those studying to become dental assistants at Central Lake College volunteered their time through Operation Grace MN to provide dental treatment for patients without private dental insurance who are in desperate need of dental care Friday and Saturday in partnership with The Salvation Army in Brainerd.
Operation Grace MN was also in Brainerd in May. During that time 22 volunteers provided 72 appointments to 46 patients and provided $21,486 worth of dental care. Future clinics are scheduled in February, May, and October of 2016.
