This year was the biggest year to date for WreathsForTheFallen.org, according to organizers.

The organization and its volunteers placed more than 5,000 wreaths on all veteran graves in the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery in Little Falls, all in 17 minutes.

"WreathsForTheFallen.org would like to take this time to thank all of our valued supporters/contributors for the help and support we received for this year's honoring our nation's fallen veterans in Little Falls, Preston and Duluth," a news release stated. "That is an amazing feat to accomplish and we thank you."

Organizers reported the job is not complete-removal of wreaths will take place Feb. 2. The removal event will begin with a briefing at 11 a.m. along with serving coffee. After the briefing and some socializing, the task will begin.

Due to the limited parking at the cemetery, the organization recommend carpooling.
