PEQUOT LAKES — One person suffered burn injuries in an oven explosion Thursday, Dec. 26, at Tasty Pizza North in Pequot Lakes.
The Pequot Lakes Police Department reported the explosion happened when the pilot light in an oven was being relit after it went out. No gas leaks were found inside the restaurant, according to the Pequot Lakes Fire Department.
The person who suffered burns, whose identity was not released Thursday evening, was transported to the hospital by North Memorial Ambulance Service. Information on the person’s condition was not available Thursday evening.
