Ruby's Pantry is a mission outreach where participants give a cash donation of $20 to cover expenses of the program and in return receive corporate-surplus food.
The variety and amount varies each month; however, the value of what is received generally averages above $50. Participants need to bring containers to carry their food home. There are no income guidelines.
Ruby's Pantry will be at the Brainerd Armory, 1115 Wright St., the second Tuesday of each month. The next distribution is 11 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Tuesday. Doors open at 10:30 a.m. For the minimum wait time, come at noon.
