Parties injured when truck hits a rock on a trail

PIERZ - A driver and his passenger were injured Monday when the truck they were in went off the trail near 213th Street and Melody Road near Pierz and hit a rock, the Morrison County Sheriff's Office reported.

PIERZ - A driver and his passenger were injured Monday when the truck they were in went off the trail near 213th Street and Melody Road near Pierz and hit a rock, the Morrison County Sheriff's Office reported.

The crash caused major front end damage and injured both parties. The driver, Aaron Virnig, 40, Pierz, had minor injuries and his passenger, Chris Medek, 27, Pierz, was taken by private vehicle to St. Gabriel's Hospital in Little Falls.

The crash was reported at 1:05 a.m.
