Crow Wing County entered into a contract with Anderson Brothers Construction for bituminous surfacing on Welton Road, Barbeau Road, Carlson Lake Road, Red Sand Lake Road and Commercial Park Road.
On Monday, a centerline culvert will be replaced on Barbeau Road near Highway 371. There will be one lane of traffic during culvert removal and installation operations.
Also on Monday, aggregate base will be placed on Welton Road. Paving will then begin Wednesday on Welton Road and the remaining roads will be paved Thursday through the week of June 27. Traffic will be controlled with flaggers and a pilot car as needed.
"Expect delays and use caution while traveling through the construction zone," a news release stated.
Weather permitting, all construction operations will be completed by July 8.
