A 40-year-old man, walking south on Highway 25, was struck and killed Saturday, Sept. 13.
Joseph J. Herold of Pierz was walking south of 163rd Street, Little Falls, in Morrison County when he was struck by an unknown vehicle, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
No description of a vehicle was available and the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office, which assisted at the scene, referred all questions Sunday to the state patrol’s report.
The state patrol described the area as dark and foggy with dry road conditions and lists the time of the incident call at 6:09 a.m. Saturday.
Mayo Ambulance and Pierz first responders also assisted at the scene.
