BAXTER-The two women, injured Saturday, June 1, as they walked in the crosswalk on Excelsior Road near Fleet Farm, are patients in the St. Cloud Hospital.
The Baxter Police Department reported a vehicle driven by 77-year-old Gladys Barbara Voeller of Brainerd hit Patricia Mae Sweet, 72, and Colleen Wanda Britz, 60, both of Brainerd. Sweet and Britz were transported by ambulance to Essentia Health-St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd to be treated for injuries. A hospital spokesperson stated they were no longer in the Brainerd hospital Monday.
It was learned the women were transported to the St. Cloud Hospital. A hospital spokesperson there Tuesday reported Sweet was in fair condition and Britz was in good condition.
