Pierz announces AAA Award winners

Established in 1988, the Academics, Arts and Athletics Award (Triple "A" Award) is sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League.

Kiara Olesch and Lance Otremba, Pierz High School seniors, have been selected to represent Pierz in the Academics, Arts and Athletics Award program for District 19.

Olesch is the daughter of Shawn and Amie Olesch. Otremba is the son of Bob and Tina.

Established in 1988, the Academics, Arts and Athletics Award (Triple "A" Award) is sponsored by the Minnesota State High School League. The award goes to high school seniors who have a “B” or better grade point average and who participate in League-sponsored athletic and fine arts activities.

Both candidates are active in high school. Olesch is involved in volleyball, basketball, softball, peer helping, WEB, band, honor band, jazz band, pit band, pep band and youth group. Otremba is involved in football, golf, choir, jazz choir, acapella choir, band, honor band, jazz band, pit band, pep band, the musical, Knowledge Bowl, MHS, peer helping and youth group.
