MOTLEY — A Pierz man suffered minor injuries in a one-vehicle accident Sunday, Aug. 9, in Motley, the Morrison County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Dugan Dunbar was traveling south on Highway 10 near Highway 210 about 2:46 a.m. when the 34-year-old drove through the center median hitting a sign, then crossed the northbound lane and came to rest in the ditch.
Dunbar was transported to the Staples Hospital by Staples Ambulance with minor injuries. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash, according to the sheriff’s office, and the case is still under investigation.
The Morrison County Sheriff’s Office was assisted at the scene by the Cass County Sheriff’s Office, Staples Police Department, Motley First Response Team and Staples Ambulance.
