Sarah Thommes, a senior at Pierz Healy High School, competed Friday at the Region Business Professionals of America contest in Alexandria.
Thommes placed third in management marketing and human resources, sixth place in banking and finance and seventh place in fundamentals of accounting-qualifying for state in all three. The state meet will be March 23-25 in Minneapolis.
